ENDRES MANUFACTURING COMPANY FOUNDATION
ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL $169,000 IN GRANTS THIS YEAR (2018)
In November, Endres Manufacturing Company Foundation announced grants of $169,000 to 24 nonprofit organizations, in addition to the annual sponsorship of Big Brothers, Big Sisters, partnership with Dane County Arts, and sponsorship of Zoo Lights for the Henry Vilas Zoo. Endres Manufacturing Company, a family business, celebrated its 90th birthday in 2016. Since 1996, the foundation has given away over $2.2 million to various charities. Also, the foundation has pledged funds to the Vera Court Youth Leadership room and to the Waunakee Library. Among the November, 2018, grant requests awarded are:
- Lutheran Social Services $1,500
- Second Harvest Food Bank $2,500
- Friends of Schumacher Farm $4,500
- Very Special Arts $5,000
- GiGi Playhouse $5,000
- Gilda’s Club $5,000
- Alzheimer Association $5,000
- Arts and literature Lab $5,000
- Badger Childhood Cancer Network $5,000
- Bayview Community $5,000
- Canopy Center Program $5,000
- CareNet Pregnancy Center $5,000
- DAMA – community murals $5,000
- Family Servies of Madison $5,000
- Madison Reading Project $5,000
- Performing Ourselves – Dance $5,000
- FAST – Families and Schools Together $5,000
- Waunakee-DeFrest Gymnastics $6,000
- Catholic Multicultural Center $9,500
- Friends of McKenzie Environmental Center $10,000
- Lake Waubesa Bible Camp $10,000
- WAGS “reading dogs” $12,500
- Madison Children’s Museum $12,500
- Waunakee Library $30,000, third payment on a $150,000 pledge
