Job Overview Machine Operator
Endres Manufacturing is looking for a Machine Operator for our Punch and Shear and Saw Department. Machine Operators take care of all machine-specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability. They need to ensure that the machine works at its full capacity, oversee its maintenance, and perform timely quality checks.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day tasks in the Punch and Shear & Saw department
- Calibrate the machine before the production begins
- Ensure the machines are regularly checked and cleaned.
- Feed raw materials into semi-automated machines and help the assembly line
- Ability to prioritize and meet scheduling demands
- Load and Unload Material from trucks and within shop as needed
- Properly uses assigned personal protective equipment
- Ensures the proper use of equipment and execution of projects
- Monitor and control the machine performance and settings
- Inspect machinery with appropriate tools
- Hands on experience with machine operating and production lines
- Learning how to operate different machines and processes involved with the production
- Troubleshoot/Fix any issues or malfunctions that may occur
- Perform all job duties adhering to company safety policies
- Perform all assigned activities to support the business objectives/needs
Job Requirements:
- 1-year machine operation or equivalent education preferred
- Strong knowledge of a heavy duty and high-speed machinery
- Operate hand tools and overhead cranes
- Strong ability to use measurement tools.
- Strong ability to work alone or with little supervision
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints and job layouts and handbooks
- Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations.
- Team interaction and good communication skills
- High school or general education degree (GED) required
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Ability to work as a team, sharing assignments to complete single units
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, squat, kneel, bend, twist and reach
- Use of hands and fingers required to manipulate machine and other tools
- Must be able to stand and walk constantly
- Must be able to grip, grasp, push, pull, reach and stoop
- Must be able to lift/carry products to 50 lbs. at varying frequencies
- Bending/Twisting: Must be able to bend at the waist, flexing knees, and twist body to perform some tasks

Structural Steel Designers
Structural Steel Detailer/AutoCAD/SDS2/3D Modeling/Architectural Drafting
Endres Manufacturing Company is currently looking for a structural steel Designer. We are an AISC certified fabricator of structural steel located in Arlington and Waunakee, WI.
Standard Working Hours:
Monday-Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
Job Duties:
- Prepare and Deliver customer approval drawings, fabrication drawings and installation drawings on time and with accuracy.
- Prepare conceptual design and draft submittal drawings for customer, field measurement drawings, final installation and fabrication drawings.
- Revise per redlines from customer.
- Responsible for meeting project schedules and budgets
- Develop new product designs in communication with supervisor.
- Deliver drawings on schedule based on project schedule requirements.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment managing multiple jobs.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in Structural/Mechanical/Civil/Architectural Drafting, Construction, Engineering or related field preferred
- 1 year of detailing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of SDS/2 and CAD software a plus
- Read and interpret work instructions, prints, drawings and job layouts.
- Steel background preferred.
- Team interaction and excellent communication skills

Job Duties:
- Operate equipment including welding, bolting, grinding, overhead crane operation and hand tools
- Interpret and use prints to perform layout and welding techniques for structural steel fabrication
- Perform all job duties adhering to company safety policies
- Properly use assigned personal protective equipment
Job Requirements:
- High school or general education degree (GED) required
- 1 year welding experience or equivalent advanced education
- Ability to read measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, prints, drawings and job layouts

Material Handler-1st & 2nd Shift
Endres Manufacturing is looking for a Material Handler for our Structural Department at our Arlington, WI & Waunakee, WI locations. Material Handlers are responsible for all material handling needs, primarily using overhead cranes to move Structural Steel. The Material Handler will be required to achieve company standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day tasks in the Structural department
- Verify contents of material received under purchase orders
- Report shortages, damages, and incorrect shipments on appropriate forms and to designated personnel
- Ensure proper rotation and organization of stock and participate in physical inventories
- Ability to prioritize and meet scheduling demands
- Loads and unloads freight in a safe manner. Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Makes certain all equipment needed for handling and moving of goods is available and in safe working condition.

Endres Manufacturing is an AISC certified and Structural Steel Manufacturing company that has been around for nearly 100 years. Endres Manufacturing is a family-owned company located in Waunakee, WI. Currently, we are hiring a for a Project Lead to work with our Steel Drafting team in Arlington and Waunakee, WI locations. The Project Lead’s role is to assist with the organization and management of the day-to-day operations, as well as any other responsibilities that the Steel Detailing Department Manager sees fit.
Responsibilities for Project Lead
- Checking addendums and new information for any changes to your assigned work
- Checking contract documents, RFI’s, specifications, etc. to ensure drawings are accurate
- Writing / submitting of RFI’s as needed
- Producing fabrication and field use drawings
- Knowledge of SDS/2 and CAD software a plus
- Miscellaneous steel 3D modeling and detailing
- Creates and maintains job cost spread sheet. Manage all purchase orders, change orders, submittals, RFI’s and proposals
- Completes project close out documents
- Checking addendums and new information for any changes to your assigned work
Qualifications for Project Lead
- Experience with using FabSuite /Tekla EPM will be very helpful
- A Bachelor’s/Associate degree in a field related industry or 1 year of proven and successful experience in related field
- Understanding of schedules

- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively
- Committed to producing accurate and complete work
- Experience with computer operating systems, such as Microsoft
