Job Overview Machine Operator

Endres Manufacturing is looking for a Machine Operator for our Punch and Shear and Saw Department. Machine Operators take care of all machine-specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability. They need to ensure that the machine works at its full capacity, oversee its maintenance, and perform timely quality checks.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day tasks in the Punch and Shear & Saw department
  • Calibrate the machine before the production begins
  • Ensure the machines are regularly checked and cleaned.
  • Feed raw materials into semi-automated machines and help the assembly line
  • Ability to prioritize and meet scheduling demands
  • Load and Unload Material from trucks and within shop as needed
  • Properly uses assigned personal protective equipment
  • Ensures the proper use of equipment and execution of projects
  • Monitor and control the machine performance and settings
  • Inspect machinery with appropriate tools
  • Hands-on experience with machine operating and production lines
  • Learning how to operate different machines and processes involved with production
  • Troubleshoot/Fix any issues or malfunctions that may occur

Job Requirements:

  • 1-year machine operation or equivalent education preferred
  • Strong knowledge of heavy duty and high-speed machinery

Structural Steel Designers

Structural Steel Detailer/AutoCAD/SDS2/3D Modeling/Architectural Drafting

Endres Manufacturing Company is currently looking for a structural steel Designer. We are an AISC certified fabricator of structural steel located in Arlington and Waunakee, WI.

Standard Working Hours:

Monday-Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and Deliver customer approval drawings, fabrication drawings and installation drawings on time and with accuracy.
  • Prepare conceptual design and draft submittal drawings for customer, field measurement drawings, final installation and fabrication drawings.
  • Revise per redlines from customer.
  • Responsible for meeting project schedules and budgets
  • Develop new product designs in communication with supervisor.

Fabricator/ Welder

Endres Manufacturing Company is currently looking for a Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder. We are an AISC certificated fabricators of structural steel located in both Arlington and Waunakee, WI. 
A fabricator/welder is responsible for creating metal structures and components from raw materials using various tools and machinery. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Production Manager

Location: Arlington, WI

Job Overview

Endres Manufacturing is an AISC certified and Structural Steel Manufacturing, family-owned company that was established in 1926 and is in Waunakee, WI. The Production Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and monitoring projects and schedules in collaboration with Project Leads, and Project Managers. The Production Manager will coordinate and monitor tasks and timelines of projects and identify and resolve potential scheduling delays and deviations. The Production Manager is responsible for preparing the job for introduction into the shop and scheduling all aspects of the project.  This role must have proven experience and knowledge of production management and understand the quality standards and enforce them. 

Responsibilities for Production Manager

  • Import projects into internal computer software Tekla EPM and prepare it for shop work.
  • Comprehension of and ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, etc. Identify any issues that may affect the overall outcome of the project prior to introducing it to the shop.
  • Keeps abreast of current lead times with inventory vendors and assists with securing materials and other items necessary for completing project goals.

Endres Manufacturing is looking for a Steel Estimator to join our team.  The Steel Estimator will be responsible for preparing a complete estimate by evaluating bid specifications, requirements, and doing a material take-off. This position requires working with the Project Manager, Detailing and Purchasing departments to assure jobs bid are completed properly.

  • Read and interpret job bid requirements, blueprints and specifications to prepare estimate.
  • Prepare an all-inclusive material take-off from the documents, identify labor needed to complete the project and identify any buy-out items.
