Job Overview Machine Operator
Endres Manufacturing is looking for a Machine Operator and Material Handler for our Structural Department. Machine Operators take care of all machine-specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading, and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability. They need to ensure that the machine works at its full capacity, oversee its maintenance, and perform timely quality checks. Material Handlers are responsible for all material handling needs, primarily using overhead remote cranes to move Structural Steel.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day tasks in the Structural department
- Calibrate the machine before the production begins.
- Ensure the machines are regularly checked and cleaned.
- Feed raw materials into semi-automated machines and help the assembly line.
- Ability to prioritize and meet scheduling demands.
- Load and Unload Material from trucks and within shop as needed.
- Effectively use assigned personal protective equipment.
- Ensures the proper use of equipment and execution of projects.
- Monitor and control the machine performance and settings.
- Inspect machinery with appropriate tools.
- Hands on experience with machine operating and production lines.
- Learning how to operate different machines and processes involved with production.
- Clean-up work areas
- Verify contents of material received under purchase orders.
- Report shortages, damages, and incorrect shipments on appropriate forms and to designated personnel.
- Ensure proper rotation and organization of stock and participate in physical inventories.
- Ability to prioritize and meet scheduling demands.
- Loads and unloads freight in a safe manner. Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Make certain all the equipment needed for handling and moving goods is available and in safe working conditions.
- Troubleshoot/Fix any issues or malfunctions that may occur.
- Perform all job duties adhering to company safety policies.
- Perform all assigned activities to support the business objectives/needs.
Job Requirements:
- 1-year machine operation or equivalent education preferred
- Ability to perform minor maintenance.
- Basic Math
- Ability to read tape measures.
- Strong knowledge of heavy duty and high-speed machinery
- Operate hand tools and overhead cranes.
- Stores materials and supplies in proper storage locations
- Drives forklift, loads and unloads trucks, to include structural steel.
- Must be willing to be cross trained in different machines and in different departments as needed.
- Strong ability to use measurement tools.
- Strong ability to work alone or with little supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints and job layouts and handbooks.
- Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations.
- Team interaction and effective communication skills
- High school or general education degree (GED) required.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Ability to work as a team, sharing assignments to complete single units.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, squat, kneel, bend, twist, and reach.
- Use of hands and fingers required to manipulate machines and other tools.
- Must be able to stand and walk constantly.
- Must be able to work outside, inside and in dusty, noisy areas and all types of weather.

Fabricator/ Welder
Endres Manufacturing Company is currently looking for Experienced Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder. We are an AISC certificated fabricators of structural steel located in both Arlington and Waunakee, WI.
A fabricator/welder is responsible for creating metal structures and components from raw materials using various tools and machinery. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Job Duties:
- Design and Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and understanding technical drawings, blueprints and schematics to create accurate components.
- Interpret and use prints to perform layout and welding techniques for structural steel fabrication
- Cutting and Shaping: Using tools like shears, rollers, and bending machines to cut and shape metal.
- Assembly: Putting together various metal parts to form a complete structure ensuring all components fit together correctly. Perform welding tasks as well to join metal parts securely.
- Quality Control: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
- Operate equipment including welding, bolting, grinders, polishers, shearing machines, overhead crane operation and hand tools
- Welding Techniques: Proficiency in different welding methods, such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
- Heat Application: Applying precise heat to create strong, reliable joints.
- Material Preparation: Cleaning and preparing metal surfaces before welding.
